Sell innovative solutions within the banking industry, utilizing top of funnel marketing activity and prospecting skills. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex sales cycles to a successful close.

About This Role

This role requires experience in selling complex technologies to LOB and IT at the enterprise level to customers in the banking industry (Big 5). Candidates should have a strong network within the customer and partner base and demonstrate consistent quota achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Navigate complex sales cycles from start to finish in big 5 banks
  • Leverage internal resources within the larger sales organization, work cross-functionally with the Customer Success team, and externally across customer and partner ecosystems
  • Presentation skills for delivering presentations to senior LOB & IT audiences, highlighting client discovery, ROI communication, and business value building
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND ENGAGE WITH C-LEVEL EXECUTIVES IN THE BANKING INDUSTRY
  • Align customer goals and KPIs with the Appian value proposition, helping customers accelerate their objectives
  • Be a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues and leverage multiple stakeholders throughout complex deals
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends to position against competitors
  • Operate with urgency, diligence, and determination within a collaborative environment
Qualifications
  • 10 -15+ years of direct selling experience and a minimum of 5 years banking experience as an Enterprise Account Executive
  • History of consistent quota achievement and examples of landing new customer logos
  • Strong industry network within the customer and partner base and job tenure history demonstrating loyalty and perseverance
