EHS Regional Strategist

This role will lead the development and implementation of environmental, health and safety strategies across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and administer a proactive EHS management system, overseeing all aspects of local and global EHS programs.
- Analyse and assess global EHS metrics, providing expert advice to senior management on company impacts and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance on WHS matters, emerging issues, and their potential impact on the organisation.
- Lead the investigation process for region-wide accidents and incidents (excluding manufacturing).
- Play a key role in the Global EHS team, contributing to risk management and emergency response planning.
- Oversee workers compensation and return-to-work programs, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
- Assist in preparing, completing, and submitting relevant regulatory reports in a timely manner.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in EH&S management, encompassing both strategic and operational aspects.
- Detailed knowledge of WHS legislation, global standards, codes of practice, and guidelines for Australia and other APAC countries.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing compliant safety management systems.
- Effective leadership skills, combined with strong planning, organisational, and attention-to-detail abilities.
