Spirax Sarco is a world-wide company specialising in the control and sustainable use of steam and other industrial fluids in the Food and Beverage, Healthcare, Brewing, Dairy, Paper manufacturing and many other industries.

Our customers rely on our experience and skilled technicians to make their process systems efficient, sustainable and to the highest quality output.

We are seeking an experienced EHS and Sustainability Manager to lead our health, safety, and sustainability initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers the opportunity to influence safety culture, drive sustainability programs, and ensure compliance with international standards in a dynamic, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the implementation of Group EHS and Sustainability strategies across Australia and New Zealand
  • Inspire and empower employees and leaders through coaching, mentoring, and practical guidance to foster a strong, proactive safety culture
  • Design and deliver engaging, impactful EHS training sessions — from toolbox talks to safety videos
  • Support and maintain ISO certifications (45001, 14001, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Lead thorough incident investigations, identify root causes, and drive meaningful corrective actions and continuous improvement
  • Analyse and report regional and divisional EHS performance metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Take the lead on health and wellbeing initiatives, including Safety and Wellbeing Week
  • Represent the ANZ region in global and divisional EHS and Sustainability forums, sharing best practices and contributing to strategic direction

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for creating safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplaces
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a closely related discipline
  • Proven EHS experience, ideally in technical sales, field service, or engineering environments
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organisation
  • Ability to think strategically while providing hands-on leadership and support
  • Skilled at building strong partnerships across functions, levels, and geographies
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation in Australia and New Zealand
  • Understanding of sustainability principles and frameworks (highly regarded)
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel across the ANZ region as required
