Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing EHS programs, managing performance metrics, conducting risk assessments, and providing regulatory training.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for implementing EHS programs at specific locations within a region.
  • Manage EHS performance metrics and annual improvement plans to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect, audit, and review safe work practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various hazards to minimize risk.
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify corrective actions and prevent future incidents.
  • Deliver regulatory training programs to meet EHS requirements and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field and 6+ years of experience in EHS with knowledge of worldwide regulations.
  • Ability to meet security screening requirements, including citizenship verification and clearance assessment through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field and 12+ years of experience, or Master's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field and 8+ years of experience in EHS.
  • Internationally recognized safety and health certifications.
