Event Management Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Event Management Team Leader to oversee the planning and execution of our events. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all events are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a background in event management, trade skills such as cabinet making or shopfitting, and experience in leading teams. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and think creatively.

In this role, you will lead and manage event installation projects, coordinate with account managers to align project objectives and deliverables, supervise and motivate crews, and assist in maintenance of storeroom | warehouse management and preparation of company equipment.

You will also plan and strategize event setups, including participation in pre-event planning meetings, manage logistics, operate forklifts and manage warehouse operations, serve as a front-facing representative of the company, interacting with clients and maintaining professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in event management and trades
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and think creatively
  • Forklift license and valid driver's license
