This is an exceptional and rewarding career opportunity for a talented professional to join our team as a People Development Specialist. The role involves providing HR services to Partners and staff, including specialist advice and coaching services in areas such as recruitment, performance management, talent retention, employee orientation and training.
About the Role... Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Assist with recruitment processes, including job advertising, interviewing, and selecting candidates
- Performance Management: Provide support with performance appraisals, goal setting, and development planning
- Talent Retention: Develop strategies to retain top performers and improve overall employee engagement
- Employee Orientation, Development and Training: Design and deliver training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Policy Interpretation and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Compensation and Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits and compensation packages
- Employee Safety, Welfare, Wellness and Health: Promote a safe and healthy work environment
- Employee Services and Counselling: Provide support with employee relations issues
You will work collaboratively with the national HR team to originate and implement HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-orientated, high-performance culture.
To be successful in this role you will require experience gained in a similar field, excellent communication skills at all levels, and a strong client service focus. You should also have the ability to motivate and influence others, multitask and manage competing priorities, and possess a 'team player' ethos with high levels of discretion, integrity and commitment to the company's standards.
