We are looking for a confident and skilled HR leader who will be trusted and supported to manage a range of varied operational and strategic people matters. We lead the way in personalised recruiting, training and rostering and your focus will be on delivering HR advice and guiding our leaders with your strong partnering skills.

You will be involved in providing generalist HR advice (such as performance management, IR, wellbeing and injury management) some recruiting with our TA specialist and be involved in a range of projects within a small HR and L&D team.

**The role**

Reporting to the Head of People Development and HR, you will be a key member of the HR and L&D team and be at home providing generalist HR consultancy and advice. Given the size of our team, you will be hands-on in leading and implementing our people projects and in managing any issues that arise.

You will work closely with our TA/recruitment team to source talent in the Core Team and you will play a key role in developing capability in operational leadership and strengthening our awesome workplace culture.

You will work collaboratively and partner with our Client Services team to support growth across the organisation. In this team we like to work at pace and make things happen, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable doing just that, while having fun along the way

**To be successful you'll have**
- Demonstrated passion for employee experience
- Great organisational and coordination skills
- Effective communication, both verbal and in writing (with an ability to draft detailed and formal contracts and responses when needed)
- An ability to instill trust and build relationships easily
- A can-do and hands-on attitude
- Tech savvy and comfort with picking up new software in the HRIS, LMS and ATS space.
- A drives to identify and deliver efficiency improvement opportunities
- Data analysis and reporting skills an advantage (intermediate Excel skills)
- Exceptional attention to detail

**Qualifications**
- HR/Organisational Psychology/Management or other other relevant tertiary qualifications

**Experience required**
- At least 5+years' generalist HR experience
- You will also have a thorough understanding of industrial relations, employee lifecycle and change management.

**Additional requirements**
