Construction Project Coordinator

At Service Stream, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Port Augusta, South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that develops and operates Australia's essential services networks.
About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated individual with relevant tertiary qualifications in construction related discipline (or equivalent skills and knowledge), combined with site and construction experience and knowledge of construction practices, design and construction principles. The successful candidate will have strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills, as well as the ability to promote a positive safety and environmental culture.
The role involves ensuring compliance with all Service Stream management system procedures, delivering toolboxes, briefings, and findings as required, participating in the preparation of safe work method statements, and responding to ongoing communication with project personnel to control and anticipate issues. You will also be responsible for monitoring plant safety, identifying safety hazards, and ensuring all personnel are inducted and have participated in a meeting for the activity.
In this role, you will be working closely with the DIT workforce, plant resources, and subcontract teams to achieve effective performance from all parties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring Compliance: Verify daily checklists, weekly checklists, and work with permits where required to ensure adherence to Service Stream management system procedures.
- Delivery of Toolboxes and Briefings: Provide regular toolboxes, briefings, and findings as required to keep the team informed and up-to-date.
- Safe Work Method Statements: Participate in the preparation of safe work method statements in conjunction with work crews, ensuring that all controls are effectively implemented and regularly reviewed.
- Issue Resolution: Act immediately on the resolution of issues as directed by the Delivery Managers and HSEQ personnel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction practices, design and construction principles, and specialized construction skills. They will also possess excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
