Rocket Engines Structural Analyst-III

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Structural Analysis Engineer for Rocket Engines, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the next generation of rocket engines and propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed structural analyses using FEA and classical methods on valves and integration components, including primary & secondary structures, instrumentation hardware, thrusters, ancillary lines, and more.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet schedule and quality requirements.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers to improve design performance and efficiency.
- Author and review structural reports to support requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in structural analysis utilizing commercial FEA tools.
- Proven experience with structural modeling of pressurized components, rocket engine hardware, or similar high-performance hardware.
- Excellent understanding of structural analysis/mechanics, Statics, Fatigue, Fracture, Dynamics.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate complex analysis results effectively.
- Knowledge of ANSYS Mechanical/Workbench.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Background in aerospace or high-performance primary and secondary structures.
