Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a 5-star hotel, is seeking a talented Ambassador to join our team. As a luxury hotel, we offer an unforgettable experience, blending French zest and Sofitel luxury.

We're undergoing a transformation, enhancing our facilities to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Scheduled to complete in Spring 2024, our hotel will provide an all-encompassing experience, combining entertainment, leisure, dining, conferencing, and unparalleled hospitality.

Job Description

As a Luxury Ambassador, you'll enjoy a fast-paced role with no two days the same. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting guests with queries and providing recommendations on Sydney's attractions, dining experiences, and entertainment options.
  • Connecting with people from around the world, creating outstanding guest experiences.
  • Overseeing daily operations and delegating tasks on shift.
  • Supervising the team of Porters and Welcomers, driving their performance.
  • Fostering a consistent and guest-centric culture within the team, delivering a luxury brand experience.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Service industry experience and the ability to excel in a luxury brand.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage others to work as a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience with the OPERA Property Management System (PMS) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Bilingual/Multilingual skills are highly regarded.
  • A desire to grow, learn new skills, and contribute to a rewarding team environment.
