Data Center Backup Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Netbackup Administrator to join our team.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and administering Veritas NetBackup environments, as well as maintaining and monitoring backup servers and enterprise data centers.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client upgrades and troubleshooting, restores, adhoc backups.
- Performing daily routine maintenance, including review of NetBackup Advance reporting.
- Performing NetBackup database maintenance, perform storage pool maintenance.
Requirements and Skills:
- At least 7-10 years' experience Data Centre Backup and Storage Solutions.
- Must have advanced experience in Troubleshooting, Restore, Backup, Tape Management via Veritas NetBackup.
- Knowledgeable in SAN structure, Data Protector File Systems Backup and Database Integration.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong Migration Experience of Backup Infrastructure across DCs.
- Strong knowledge of backup data replication/duplication across DCs, On-Prem to Cloud.
