About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Manager to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of communications and engagement specialists, providing expert advice on engagement programs, and building and sustaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of communications and engagement specialists to deliver key communication and engagement content, plans, and programs for the benefit of customers, the community, and various stakeholder groups.
  • Provide expert advice on engagement programs, ensuring projects have communication and engagement strategies that can convey technical information to non-technical parties.
  • Work closely with the Director of the Resilience Hub and other members of the team to deliver internal communication, ministerial responses, and pitching strategies.
  • Ensure material is presented correctly and effectively, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in communications and engagement. You will have demonstrated experience in implementing communication campaigns, ideally in a government or disaster-related environment. Your communication skills are top-notch, and you have expertise in project management, relationship building, problem-solving, and managing competing priorities.
