About the Role

The Maintenance Planner Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, detailing parts and labor requirements for all planned maintenance activities.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Communicate plans and schedules to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve maintenance processes, identifying opportunities to streamline systems and enhance efficiency.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert for our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), providing support and training as needed to team members.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring overall equipment efficiency improvements.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Establish and track relevant reports and maintenance metrics using our Management Information (MI) system and supporting tools.
  • Shutdown and Maintenance Planning: Plan and coordinate shutdown and maintenance programs, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply operational excellence tools and techniques to continuously improve processes, eliminate waste, and enhance a World Class Maintenance process.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing and quality, working in a world-class environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple conflicting demands and prioritize accordingly.
  • Education: Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification recognized by the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland, or an Engineering Qualification or Fás/SOLAS Time-served or at least 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning role.
