About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Security sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our security business by developing and establishing new business relationships with commercial security customers, influencers, and vertical market targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Consistently achieve budgeted monthly/quarterly/annual sales for secured bookings & margin through effective prospecting, quoting, and closing new business.
  • Pipeline Development: Spend a minimum 70% of your time in the field prospecting, quoting, and closing new business to establish a solid pipeline that delivers consistent sales budgets.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reports through Salesforce.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current security license.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • At least 5 years of experience within the Australian security industry, including security sales experience.
  • Ideal certifications in Gallagher, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Inner-range, and C-CURE.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Advanced Microsoft and Salesforce skills.
Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in security integration business development and the ability to develop BOMs, costings, and quotations for installation projects up to AUD$1m.
  • Strong knowledge of security solutions, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Experience in managing complex design and quotation processes.
  • A strong network within the commercial security industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits

This is a highly competitive remunerative package with a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus benefits such as paid volunteer programs, employee referral programs, and apprentice programs.
