Sales Growth Strategist

About the Role
Brightcove is looking for an exceptional professional to join our Sales team in ANZ. This Senior Sales Development Representative is responsible for feeding the sales pipeline by identifying and developing new sales leads to then pass on to the Account Executives and Sales Directors.
The ideal candidate will become an expert in generating, prospecting, and qualifying leads, which are crucial components of the sales process. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to prove oneself in a fast-paced sales environment within a growing SaaS company with immense potential for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify and nurture sales leads generated via various channels such as the web, trial system, seminars, and conferences.
- Establish initial contact with potential clients to identify account decision-makers, understand their business needs, and make recommendations for next steps.
- Identify high-potential prospects and transition them to the appropriate sales representative.
- Collaborate with inside and field sales representatives to develop a target list of accounts to penetrate on a quarterly basis in support of the business plan.
- Effectively utilize Brightcove's lead management system, documentation, and tracking processes.
- Maintain current and working knowledge of Brightcove's products and services, including competitive differences.
- Achieve or exceed monthly individual metrics.
Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using a CRM solution like Salesforce.com (preferred).
- Highly self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, organized, and flexible individual.
- Ability to work effectively in both team environments and individually.
- Positive attitude and a desire to work in a rapid-growth, entrepreneurial setting.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
