Executive Chef Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional breakfast services and function catering experiences for our guests.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be working across two of our premium hotels in Adelaide. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage daily breakfast operations, including creating prep lists, stock rotation, inventory monitoring, and rostering assistance.
  2. Execute function and event catering, including setup, service, and pack-down.
  3. Assist with other service periods at both hotels.
  4. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
  5. Work independently during solo shifts and collaborate with the kitchen team as needed.
  6. Attend to guest needs promptly and effectively.
  7. Demonstrate comprehensive recipe knowledge for all menu items.
  8. Monitor food quality, portion control, and storage standards.
  9. Complete responsibilities timely and follow all recipes and standards.
  10. Maintain personal grooming standards and a harmonious team relationship.
  11. Ensure food safety, workplace health and safety guidelines, and equipment maintenance are followed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kg.
