Job Title: Manager, Relationship Associates

Maxxia is part of the McMillan Shakespeare Group (MMS), Australia's largest provider of salary packaging and novated leasing, and collectively we provide expertise in novated leasing, salary packaging, associated Fringe Benefits Tax administration and management, operating leases and asset management for 'tool of trade' vehicles and other business assets, retail finance, insurance and warranty.

As the Manager, Relationship Associates, you will lead a team of 7, providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching, including feedback on an informal, day-to-day basis, as well as via regular one-on-one catch-ups and performance reviews. You will work closely with the Relationship Associates to achieve daily, monthly, and annual KPI targets in line with business objectives.

You will be responsible for managing the execution of digital strategies and improving onsite activity to educate our customers by lead and database generation, participation growth, and brand advocacy for the region.

Critical to the success is the ability to enhance Relationship Associate efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement of processes and internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the identification and development of potential/future leaders for the broader Maxxia business.
  • Highlight excellent client/customer achievements in the team and positively reinforce desirable behaviors in line with Maxxia behavioral standards.
  • Monitor employee motivation and engagement levels and take appropriate action to ensure these are maintained at a high level.
  • Coach and guide employees towards the achievement of their identified skill and career objectives.
  • Proactively manage performance of direct reports as required.
  • Continually review the effectiveness and efficiency of the Distribution (Relationship Associate) team and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years in sales management leading a team of sales professionals.
  • Proven track record of highly developed Business Development and/or Account Management experience managing a portfolio of accounts in a sales-focused environment.
  • Track record of achieving targets and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in contributing to the development of sales strategies and plans.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated capability to engage clients and customers from various backgrounds and levels.
