
Strategic Sales Leadership Position

This role offers a unique chance to take on a leadership position within our National Commercial Team. As part of this team, you will be supported by a talented group of professionals and work closely with an experienced Head of Sales to implement strategic plans and drive business growth.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve market share and revenue growth.
- Leading a team of sales professionals, providing them with ongoing development and mentoring.
- Creating and executing plans for new business growth in the mid-market segment, testing initiatives and innovations to deliver a winning offer.
- Identifying, managing, and developing multi-level client relationships to establish our company as a preferred supplier.
- Providing leadership through effective communication, active coaching, and development to improve sales results.
- Understanding commercial and contractual processes and negotiating these where necessary.
- Contributing as a member of the National Commercial Team (NCL) and collaborating with various business units to achieve desired results.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven sales experience within a B2B sales environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
- Experience of recruiting, building, and developing high-performing teams.
- Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets both as a team and individually.
- Experience with managing 3rd-party providers to assist the sales process and business development.
- High degree of business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a growing sales team across the country.
- Ability to understand and translate client business needs into valued solutions and create long-term relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the drive and energy to succeed.
- Ability to deal with clients at various levels of engagement.
- Advanced presentation, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel interstate for business requirements and customer interaction.
