Family Violence Case Manager

Gateway Health is seeking an experienced Family Violence professional to join our team as a Crisis Intervention Specialist. This role will focus on providing timely and effective support to individuals and families experiencing domestic and family violence.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for someone who can work in a busy, dynamic, and evolving environment, establishing effective relationships with clients and providing comprehensive case management support. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals and families experiencing trauma, ideally in a similar Domestic and Family Violence services context.
The Crisis Intervention Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing client-led case plans that promote the best interests of each family member
- Providing case management support in accordance with trauma-informed frameworks and standards of practice
- Completing comprehensive risk assessments and safety planning using the MARAM framework
- Ongoing assessment of client issues, needs, and circumstances from initial intake to exit
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development, or a related field
- Relevant experience in a social service environment
- Completed comprehensive MARAM Framework training
- Previous experience working with individuals and families experiencing trauma

Estimate Salary Range: $73,000 - $90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)-
