Role Summary

Transport for NSW is looking for a Benefits Realisation Manager to join our team. The role involves driving the implementation of effective benefits realisation management and evaluation techniques, standards, and practices across various projects and programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive and practical solutions to project teams throughout the investment lifecycle to ensure that benefits are identified, quantified, assured, tracked, and evaluated in line with best practice and government policies and procedures.

The role operates with a high level of autonomy, and your ability to build trust and partner closely with internal and external stakeholders will be critical to your success.

Key Accountabilities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the Benefit Realisation Management and Evaluation Framework and Guidelines
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure benefits are captured at the commencement of the project lifecycle
  • Assure that benefits realisation management and evaluation requirements are met as an investment progresses through the lifecycle
  • Provide advisory support and guidance to transport teams to assess the impact on benefits of variations
  • Ensure tracking mechanisms and benefit realisation and evaluation procedures are in place

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in evaluation and/or benefits realisation, tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
