Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Sydney is a hub for our global business, with a strong focus on human resources services. We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team, playing a vital role in providing efficient and effective payroll services across our operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in commerce or accounting, along with at least 3 years of experience in a complex environment managing multiple payrolls. Experience with Asian payroll legislation is highly desirable. Key responsibilities include coordinating with payroll service providers, preparing payroll reports, maintaining accurate employee data, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with payroll service providers to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
  • Support the payroll manager in providing consolidated payroll reports as needed.
  • Complete benefit enrollments and reports as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in Workday.
  • Respond to payroll queries and changes in payroll legislation.
  • Prepare Asia social security & tax year-end adjustments and settlement, tax filing.
  • Year-end payroll reports preparation and checking.
  • Document filing in timely manner per local regulation requested.
  • Employee communications on personal data collection and updates.
