Food and Beverage Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Taronga Zoo. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for leading the successful management of a designated outlet, ensuring that all outlets operate in a sustainable, courteous and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the F&B team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the Retail Catering Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in a high-volume food and beverage environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
