The Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing technical based training programs that support employee growth and career development.

This role is dedicated to maximizing CDC's investment in areas like employee engagement, promotions, apprenticeships and cross-functional transitions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the development, administration, and enhancement of the CDC Academy's curriculum, resources, and delivery methods.
  • Aligning the learning and development framework with organisational goals and industry trends.
  • Collaborating with teams to design and implement technical based L&D solutions addressing specific business needs.
  • Managing the functionality and accessibility of the Learning & Development system for all employees.
  • Providing expert advice to Line Management on L&D policies, programs, and best practices.

An estimated annual salary for this role is between AU$120,000 - AU$150,000, depending on experience.

About you:

This role would suit candidates from either a technical based L&D background or somebody that comes from a strong technical background (data centres, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC etc.) looking to move into an L&D/training capacity.

Requirements include:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider business and external stakeholders to achieve learning strategy outcomes.

Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
