About the Opportunity
Saab Australia is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Lead to join their team in the Combat Systems Integration – Integrated Project Team (CSI-IPT) Collaboration Agreement or (CCA). The CSI-IPT CCA forms a collaborative enterprise organisation to execute scopes of work across Hobart Class Destroyer and Hunter Class Frigate projects.
Role Overview
The Learning and Development Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing Learning and Development initiatives across the CSI-IPT. This includes managing the learning and development capability, working with the CSI-IPT Engineering and Logistics Capability Manager, and leading the development and implementation of Learning and Development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the learning and development capability of the CSI-IPT in accordance with resource forecast demands.
- Develop and implement an annual training plan within allocated training budgets.
- Lead technical training to ensure SQEP and/or other L&D programs outside of the IT space.
- Identify areas of long-term strategic development within the Learning & Development environment and put forward recommendations.
- Facilitate internal training workshops with support from the CSI-IPT Change Manager and discipline specialists.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require demonstrated experience in successfully implementing learning and development processes and frameworks, business acumen and human resources experience within a learning and development environment, and experience with training needs analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation of relevant training and development programs.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in learning & development and/or training.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
