Learning Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Development Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra. As a key member of our Learning Team, you will play a critical role in delivering programs of work that align with our learning and development initiatives in the APAC region.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for working closely with business leaders and HR to provide strategic support and guidance on learning and development matters. This includes understanding and quantifying L&D requirements to effectively curate and direct towards global solutions available, or finding off-the-shelf solutions provided by local vendors.
This is a true business partnering role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to foster and develop relationships. You will work collaboratively with Capability Development Managers and the Learning Solutions team to ensure proposed solutions provide efficient, high-quality learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and quantify L&D requirements.
- Develop and implement effective learning strategies to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver high-quality learning solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees on learning and development matters.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a HR support role or related field.
- Tertiary education in HR or a related field (e.g., Business, Commerce, Marketing, Psychology).
- A genuine passion for developing people, with a focus on continuous improvement and impact.
- Strong business writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- A natural relationship builder with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
