Partnerships Marketing Manager Role

This role is a vital component of building the organization's reputation as a thought leader in sustainable packaging and ensuring alignment across the organization through effective internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, including training.

The successful candidate will have experience in partnership management, communications, or stakeholder engagement, preferably within sustainability, FMCG, packaging, or purpose-led organizations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strategic partnerships with charities, sustainability organizations, government, NGOs, and other external stakeholders aligned with the organization's mission.
  • Manage ongoing partner relationships to ensure mutual value creation, brand alignment, and measurable impact.
  • Lead partner activations, joint campaigns, and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with marketing, sustainability, and commercial teams.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and impact of partnerships.
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the organization's reputation and profile as a sustainability pioneer and industry leader.
  • Lead development of thought leadership content including whitepapers, annual sustainability reports, opinion editorials, and speaking submissions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sustainability, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in partnership management, communications, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing successful partnerships and delivering measurable impact.
  • Demonstrated experience leading PR campaigns, thought leadership content, and managing media relations.
