Job Title

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a Corporate Lawyer. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled lawyer to work closely with our platform and distribution business. You will be involved in areas such as superannuation, managed investment schemes, IDPS, IDPS-like products, and managed discretionary accounts.

  • Review and draft disclosure documents, including PDSs, IDPS Guides, FSGs, TMDs, and Application Forms.
  • Review communications with advisers and investors.
  • Support product documentation and product development, including product feature T&Cs and structuring support for the Product Development Team.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to hit the ground running, and work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Legal Advice: Provide expert legal advice on various matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Document Review: Review and draft disclosure documents, including PDSs, IDPS Guides, FSGs, TMDs, and Application Forms.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with the Platform and Distribution Business teams to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian legal qualifications and eligibility to practice law in New South Wales.
  • Top-tier or mid-tier law firm experience highly valued.
  • Deep understanding of the Corporations Act, specifically Chapter 7.
