About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our breakfast service across three outlets: Mode Kitchen & Bar, In-Room Dining, and Lounge 32. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure that every dish served is presented impeccably and meets the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for controlling food costs, portion control, and waste management while maintaining a high level of efficiency in our fast-paced kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For

  • A master of your craft with previous experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop your team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
  • Working knowledge of stock management, quality control, and ordering
  • The ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends
