About the Role

We are seeking a detail-focused Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Solutions team. This permanent role will support the Head of Finance, Technical Accounting Advisory in the coordination of year-end financial reporting processes and governance of recurring regulatory financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage timelines and stakeholders for the year-end financial reporting process, ensuring timely completion of financial statements and engaging with external auditors as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement and operate financial reporting processes and controls in accordance with QIC's policies and standards, promoting consistency in financial statement disclosure across asset classes.
  • Prepare audit committee and other reporting committee reports, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Oversee the audit engagement and representation letter processes, including audit fee schedules and allocations.
About You

This role requires strong knowledge of financial reporting principles, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. A solid accounting background, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience in audit, financial reporting, or a related field.
  • A deep understanding of financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits package.
