About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. This is a 14-month contract opportunity that will play a key role in implementing and analyzing reporting activities across multiple entities.

Your Day
  • You will identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes, including month-end accruals, budgeting and forecasting, billings and cash collections.
  • You will provide assessments on key financial project risks and opportunities.
  • You will prepare and review allocated business unit financial performance.
  • You will provide training to the business unit on relevant financial matters.
  • You will actively participate in cash flow forecast processes for the Group.
  • You will have an in-depth understanding and analysis of overheads, highlighting valuable insights.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, and/or Commerce.
  • CA/CPA qualified or studying towards a qualification.
  • 5+ years post-graduate experience in financial/management accounting roles within a large corporate environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and control workload arising from a broad user base.
  • Experience working with large ERPs.
