Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business Development Manager to join our AWS Infrastructure and Infrastructure Strategic Collaborations Divestiture team. As a key member of this team, you will provide thought leadership to customers in their efforts to exit their data centers.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with the AWS Sales Organization and directly with strategic System Integrators (SIs) and enterprise customers to evaluate and transform their current data center infrastructure. Your goal will be to enable cost-effective migration to AWS cloud by delivering results through joint Go-to-Market programs and identifying large-scale IT Outsourcing wins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of AWS customer-facing sales teams to support top partners and customers in articulating the economic value of cloud and data center transformation.
  • Develop and drive strategy for developing pipeline of customer engagements.
  • Build seamless end-to-end Customer journey through various stages of data center transformation.
  • Develop mechanisms for scaling the data center divest transformation model with key AWS partners.
  • Serve as a key source of market insights into customers' data center and infrastructure transformation challenges.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • BS degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in partner management or business development and/or infrastructure program/product management.
  • 5+ years of experience with data center infrastructure and operations, site selection, and procurement.
