
Construction Certification Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Certifier to join our team. As a Building Certifier, you will play a critical role in ensuring that buildings are constructed and certified in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out thorough building assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Issuing Compliance Certificates and Certificates of Occupancy after conducting thorough investigations
- Providing expert advice on building compliance to clients across various industries
- Investigating and resolving client requests in a timely and professional manner
- Contributing to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Current registration as a Building Certifier (Level 1, 2 or 3) with the relevant authorities
- Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Building Surveying or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ability to adapt to new systems and processes
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare complex reports
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
