A seasoned construction expert is sought to oversee daily site activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.

About the Role
  • Supervise and direct construction teams, guaranteeing adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Assume responsibility as an Excavation Authorised Person (AP), overseeing excavation permits and QGC procedures.
  • Offer technical guidance and troubleshooting for construction issues.
  • Liaise with landowners and secure necessary permissions for site access.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and verify resource allocation.
  • Conduct site surveys, quality assurance checks, and participate in project handovers.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide timely risk and issue reporting.
  • Support engineering design and field resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in live asset excavation and backfill within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven expertise in HDPE water and gas gathering systems.
  • Certificate III in Gas Supply Industry or ability to obtain.
  • Competency in squeeze-off, hot tap, HDPE welding, flange management, and N2 purging/testing.
  • Familiarity with LPD & HPV excavation and installation.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline construction from clearing to rehabilitation.
  • Experience with safety management systems and HSSE principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and contractor supervision skills.
