About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust Account Manager to join our Property Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the trust accounting process from top to bottom, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant Acts.

Key Responsibilities

  • General accounts management, including processing Lessor invoices for payment
  • Receipt of rent daily and issue receipts of all rental monies across the centralised FV portfolio
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Complete Mid and End of month transaction process as required and in accordance with the relevant Acts
  • Manage the disbursement of all creditors in line with payment terms
  • Liaise with Property Managers to ensure sufficient funds are available to process owner invoices
  • Manage Tenancy Bonds including collation of bond forms and disbursement of funds to the RTA
  • Prepare trust account documents including bank statements in preparation for auditing
  • Ensure trust account audit reports / records are kept in the office and easily accessible if required
  • Maintain the tenant banklink register for all rent payments to ensure accurate allocation
  • Manage any change of ownership due to sale in the property management software including settlement rent disbursements
  • Ensure all funds in and out of the trust account have appropriate signatory and approval
  • All balances and unknown deposits are lodged with the public trustee as required

Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in a similar role within Real Estate
  • Appropriate Real Estate or Sales License in Queensland
  • Property management experience desired (but not required)
  • Proven organisational and communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel
