About the Role

CBRE is seeking a highly skilled Trust Accountant to join our Property Accounting team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and managing financial operations related to CBRE trust accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Control: Ensure trust accounts are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements, liaise with external auditors, oversee property transitions, review monthly bank reconciliations, and prepare bank fee recoveries.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in performing all necessary reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support and Manage: Assist in reviewing property trust account balance on a weekly basis, prepare monthly management fee reconciliations and wages recoveries reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA/CA qualified or studying towards it.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
