We are currently seeking a dedicated Trust Account Manager to enhance our Property Management division.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the comprehensive management of trust accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general accounts management, including the processing of Lessor invoices for payment.
- Handle daily rent receipts and issue receipts for all rental income across the centralized portfolio.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Execute mid and end-of-month transaction processes in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage the disbursement of all creditors in accordance with established payment terms.
- Collaborate with Property Managers to ensure adequate funds are available for owner invoices.
- Administer Tenancy Bonds, including the collection of bond forms and disbursement of funds to the appropriate authorities.
- Prepare trust account documentation, including bank statements, in readiness for audits.
- Maintain organized trust account audit reports and records for easy access.
- Ensure accurate allocation of rent payments by managing the tenant banklink register.
- Oversee any ownership changes due to property sales within the management software, including settlement rent disbursements.
- Ensure all transactions in and out of the trust account have the necessary approvals and signatories.
- Ensure that all balances and unidentified deposits are reported to the public trustee as required.
With a portfolio of approximately 560 apartments, this role demands a proactive individual capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We seek a reliable professional who can effectively manage trust operations and facilitate communication across departments. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within the real estate sector.
- Possession of an appropriate Real Estate or Sales License in Queensland.
- Experience in property management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
