Job Summary

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated team of chefs, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a luxury brand standard.

As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking a range of dishes, from breakfast to dinner;
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene;
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery;
  • Assisting with menu planning, purchasing, and inventory management;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A trade qualification in commercial cookery (Commis Chef or equivalent);
  • Experience working in a hotel kitchen environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays;
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and HACCP principles;
  • Able to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
