Job Description

A prestigious opportunity awaits you as a Porter at our Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach hotel.

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing assistance with valet parking and luggage upon arrival and departure.
  • Showcase your knowledge of hotel facilities and services to address guest inquiries.
  • Maintain the lobby and porte-cochère areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Offer recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including booking taxis, limousines, and airport transfers.
  • Adhere to the hotel's standards of excellence in customer service and professionalism.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A passion for creating memorable guest experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shift times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A valid full Australian driver's license.
