About the Role

We are seeking Casual Rail Welders for Rail Operations in Sydney NSW. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Rail-specific duties may include:

  • Ensuring welding duties meet required standards
  • Determining the method and sequence of welding operations
  • Preparing rail to repair and maintain rail tracks
  • Completing required documentation such as welding and adjustment returns

About You

  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a team
  • Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry
  • Current Thermit Welding Certificate, or equivalent
  • Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure
  • Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
  • Valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'
  • Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening
  • Hold a current Sydney Trains CON number
