About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Back of House Manager to join our team at JD Sports Australia. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of inventory, including priority processing of deliveries, managing stock levels, and maintaining a secure and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Plan and manage stock deliveries, ensuring timely receipt and processing of inventory. Ensure maximum stock availability through effective management of replenishment systems.
  2. Stock Control: Manage all incoming and outgoing stock, including faulty items, negative stock, and markdowns. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
  3. Team Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to the Back of House team, setting clear expectations and providing feedback to ensure high performance and productivity.
  4. Store Security: Lead daily and weekly Back of House walk-throughs with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with store security and loss prevention policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. 2+ years' experience in a similar role within a high-turnover, large-format fashion retailer.
  2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  4. Previous experience managing a team and providing guidance and feedback.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
