About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Back of House Manager at JD Sports Australia. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of inventory, including priority processing of deliveries, managing stock levels, and maintaining a secure and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Plan and manage stock deliveries, ensuring that stock is received and processed in a timely manner, and that maximum stock availability is delivered through effective management of replenishment systems.
  2. Back of House Operations: Provide direction to the Back of House team around daily priorities for stock to floor and delivery processing, and lead daily and weekly Back of House walk-throughs with the Store Manager to ensure team members are trained in correct store security and loss prevention policies and procedures.
  3. Team Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to the Back of House Team Members through setting clear expectations, and provide both positive and constructive feedback to team members to encourage, improve or enhance performance.
  4. Problem-Solving: Investigate negative stock on hand (SOH) weekly and action accordingly, and effectively manage faulty stock and write-offs in line with company guidelines.
Requirements
  1. 2+ years' experience in a similar role within a high-turnover, large-format fashion retailer.
  2. Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
  3. Ability to work towards tight deadlines in a timely manner, without compromising on output.
  4. Previous experience managing a team.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Flexible to adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
  7. Excellent time management skills and ability to execute daily priorities in a timely manner.
  8. Confident at communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
