Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will provide meaningful solutions for an existing portfolio of diversified business clients.

Your relationship management experience, insights and expertise, along with our range of innovative products and services will help you move these businesses forward and grow our client base.

In addition to providing excellent service to the existing clients, you will also focus on new client acquisition as well as identifying further opportunities for both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with clients and retain their business through excellent client service;
  • Use your network and referral partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities;
  • Gain a deep understanding of complex client needs and engage product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions;
  • Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions; and
  • Continuously build your profile and presence within the region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Have solid experience in building and leading a business banking portfolio and lending above $1m;
  • Have a deep understanding of banking products and services;
  • Are highly skilled in credit and comfortable in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial documents and the underlying cash-flow drivers; and
  • Pride yourself in building relationships through excellent service and driving new business.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Relationship Manager or Small Business Banker who is looking to step up, develop & enhance their experience within complex, high value lending.
