
Strategic Urban Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects, working collaboratively with economists, planners, designers, and other professionals.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, with experience in project management and statutory planning legislation. They will be able to work effectively within a team, prioritizing competing demands and managing multiple projects within agreed budgets and timeframes.
As an Urban Planner at our company, you will be responsible for providing sound advice and insights to clients, conducting due diligence assessments, master plans, and managing approval processes. You will also develop client relationships through trust, quality advice, and effective communication.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in urban and regional town planning or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in urban planning. They will possess strong knowledge of strategic planning legislation and be able to write submissions, proposals, and advice that meet client needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in urban planning, ideally with some project management experience
- Strong knowledge of statutory and strategic planning legislation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
