Urban Development Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cities through high-profile urban development projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects, while also managing other planning and development initiatives under the guidance of a Project Director.

This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your technical expertise, enhance your project management skills, and cultivate strong client relationships. You will be working on large-scale projects that have the potential to make a significant impact on urban development.

  • Collaborate across multiple projects, including being part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop project management skills, with a focus on preparing planning deliverables such as Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, and Planning Proposal Reports.
  • Gain knowledge of the NSW planning system, with a demonstrated desire and ability to enhance and grow your expertise in this area.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, providing advice across both private and government authorities.
  • Be a team player, with the passion and drive necessary to work in a high-performing environment.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Planning or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in urban planning.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, industry, or renewable energy projects (an asset).
