About the Role

The Business Services Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Glen Eira Leisure, inspiring teams to achieve excellence, aligning operations with business objectives, and ensuring quality programs and services remain at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a high-performing and collaborative environment by overseeing People Development, Risk and Compliance, Innovation and Administration, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Ensure strategic goals are met by overseeing the execution of the GEL business plan relevant to your teams.
  • Provide essential support to the General Manager of Glen Eira Leisure in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and effective management.
  • Evaluate team performance against KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of service and compliance.
  • Continuously develop and enhance team performance and standards to position Glen Eira Leisure as an industry leader.
  • Ensure audits are conducted promptly and meet minimum KPIs set out in the GEL Business Plan, maintaining rigorous standards of accountability and performance.
  • Manage dispute resolutions and uphold GEL's Customer Service Charter, providing exceptional service to all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to organisational values and behaviours.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or related field OR less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience.
  • Previous facility management experience at a senior level.
  • Outstanding leadership and management skills.
  • Strong business/commercial acumen.
  • Experience in providing quality customer service environments.
  • Experience with service contract management, preparation, and procurement.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
