This role focuses on providing early intervention services to support workers in their recovery and return to work. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will educate employers about the activities they can undertake to facilitate a worker's recovery while their claim is being assessed.

- Supporting workers in understanding the RTW process
- Identifying barriers in a worker's recovery and RTW
- Communicating with Third Party Insurers, if required, to gain additional information relating to the recovery and RTW process
- Engaging other relevant services based on the specific circumstances of a claim
- Ongoing communication with the employer, worker, and Organisation Representative during the claim assessment period
- Providing a seamless handover to the case manager if liability is accepted
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Knowledge of the worker's compensation claims process and relevant legislation
- Understanding of the link between early intervention and positive RTW outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
In addition, desirable skills include:
- Experience in worker's compensation (case management experience highly regarded)
- A rehabilitation background would be beneficial for this role
- Ability to influence employers to engage constructively with injured workers
- Time management and organisational skills
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of workers and employers. If you are passionate about supporting workers in their recovery and return to work, we encourage you to apply.
