About the Role

The Bitumen Operations Excellence Program Manager will play a key role in leading our global operations excellence initiatives, driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence programs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements across all aspects of our operations, including equipment reliability, quality control and safety management.
  • Safety Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive safety management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and enhancing operational competence.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Tertiary education in an engineering-related discipline or relevant trade certification.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in frontline industrial operations, with a strong background in bitumen processing and safety management.
  • Skill Set: Strong business acumen, effective communication and leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, knowledge of industry safety standards and trade practices.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, customer-focused, willing to travel nationally and globally.
