Join Puma Energy as a seasoned Bitumen Operations Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our global Bitumen terminal network.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering management, with experience in managing the safe operation of hazardous facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a network of engineering consultants, project managers, and construction managers to deliver projects and major maintenance on time;
  • Conducting site inspections to monitor works undertaken and check conditions as required;
  • Providing guidance, leadership, and technical direction for projects and maintenance undertaken by the Bitumen terminals;
  • Documenting company asset and engineering standards and monitoring compliance to ensure a high standard of adherence;
About You

We are seeking an exceptional individual with:

  • A tertiary education in an engineering-related discipline;
  • Over 5 years of experience related to similar operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to lead, motivate, and work collaboratively with others;
  • Effective communication skills and knowledge of relevant industry safety, engineering standards, and trade practices;
  • Experience in project management and budgeting;
  • Strong customer focus and self-motivation to identify and implement operational improvements;
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and Maintenance and HSE systems;
