Senior Global Custodian Bid Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Global Custodian Bid Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Custody team, you will be responsible for project managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) and bid process from initial briefing to final document submission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the sales and Relationship Manager lead to prepare deal briefings and win strategies.
  • Chair an informative kick-off session with all stakeholders, understanding their different needs to determine the most effective approach.
  • Identify and engage subject matter owners and experts, ensuring they attend the initial briefing.
  • Project manage the bid through to submission of the final document, determining deadlines and managing all parties to deliver on time.
  • Work with the proposal writer to ensure responses are complete, compliant, and compelling.
  • Collaborate with print companies to produce high-quality hard copy materials on time.
  • Maintain connections with the bid to share knowledge gained and ensure consistent high standards for follow-up submissions and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge by participating in training sessions.
  • Track statistics to generate Management Information (MI) for proposal submissions.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related field; or relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Skilled communicator and facilitator.
  • Ability to manage priorities, plan, and set deadlines.
  • Understanding of the Securities Services business model, products, industry, and client segments, including asset management, asset owners, and alternatives.
  • Attention to detail, multitasking ability, and strong commitment to quality control.
  • Influencing skills to foster relationships with all stakeholders and encourage accurate and timely response production.
  • Proposal management and writing experience in a similar financial organization.
Estimated Salary:

A competitive salary range of AU$110,000 - AU$140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
