Job Overview

At KinCare, we are committed to improving the quality of life and wellbeing for our customers through tailored in-home care services. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Sutherland NSW.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to our customers, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Delivering domestic assistance, such as cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping, as well as providing social support and access to lifestyle activities.
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, and supporting their health and wellbeing goals.
  • Working closely with our customers and their families to understand their needs and preferences, and providing care and support that meets those needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and care plans, and contributing to the ongoing development of our care services.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, including personal care and support.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of empathy and understanding of the needs of older adults and people with disabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
